PostSubject: A hello from BRracing_newboy1.   Mon Sep 15, 2008 9:14 pm

Greetings! My race name, newboy1, comes from the fact that online is totally new to me. I wasn't going to go online, but I tried it and was hooked. I have played all the Grand Turismo Series. This is the first time I'm using a steering wheel. My rig is a Sony 55" 1080p, no chair, G25 is attached to a bed making full lay down cockpit F1 style. I thought it would be easy to adapt to medical bed for sick kids.

Being online is going to be tricky for me. So if I don't answer right away, I'm not ignoring you. I haven't figured this out yet. (My sister is doing this now! *waves*)

My favorite car is F1 2007. I'm looking forward to contributing tuning settings and racing in this group.

Thought I would also say hello! It's nice to have the chance to get into some races over this side of the Atlantic! Thanks Protox for the visit to the Friday race. It was great fun. Hope to see you there this Friday. Trying to get the feel for the 350Z and join you all for a few good ones.

Hello to you all from the land of drizzle and traffic jams.
My real name is Sean, I am 48 and worked as the parts manager for a local motorcycle dealership in town for 20 years before deciding I needed a change last year.
With the exception of Descent and the Splinter Cell series the only games I have ever been into are driving games, specifically the Grand Turismo family which i started playing with Dave who posted above, oh so many years ago.
At present I am struggling to get used to using a wheel, I am slower with it than the 6 axis at present but hopefully that will change.
I like to race considerately and will always try to leave room for an opponent so if you see me behind you, DO NOT PANIC.
Cant think of much else at the mo you would be interested in, I am looking forwards to some inter team eventing cos I think its the way to go to maintain real interest in GT5p.
Thanks to ProtoX for his invite and I look forwards to some quality jousting on the hustings.
Respects
Sean - Hawkfum
